We have grown cut flowers at Wren Farm since 2013. Elizabeth oversees the rows herself and sells bouquets through the season. Peonies come in late spring. Wildflowers run through late summer. Sunflowers and dahlias carry into fall.

The Peonies

Peonies, row on row.

The peonies are the biggest crop in the field: pink, blush, white, and deep magenta, cut by the armload while the buds are still tight.

The Hydrangeas

Hydrangeas by the armful.

Limelight hydrangeas fill the beds by the farmhouse through the summer, white fading to soft lime, cut into blooms as big as two hands together.

The Sunflowers

One acre of sunflowers.

A full acre of sunflowers comes on in late summer and holds into fall. Couples use it for photos.

Wildflowers & Dahlias

The field goes wild, then the dahlias come in.

A whole stretch of the field turns over to wildflowers through late summer: coneflowers, black-eyed Susans, and daisies against the sunset. Then the dahlias come on into fall, cut by the vase in every shade from magenta to peach.

Flower Dinners

Dinners in the flowers.

A few evenings each season we set a long table beside the field and host a public farm dinner. Small, seasonal, and outside.

Smaller gatherings, the same fields.

Grad parties, birthday parties, bridal showers, and baby showers all fit here. A 4 hour event in the morning or afternoon is $650.

Smaller events can be booked 90 days in advance of the event. Dates are not released for smaller events until then.

For Couples

Getting married here? The flowers are yours too.

Couples can add farm-grown florals to their wedding day, and the sunflower patch and peony rows are open to you for portraits. Ask on your tour.
